Наступил август, а август для меня всегда время свежих фруктов и овощей с фермерского рынка. Конечно, сегодня овощи и фрукты можно покупать в магазине круглый год, но свежие местные фрукты и овощи можно купить только в сезон урожая фруктов и овощей, который начинается в августе.
August has come. August for me is always the time for fresh fruits and vegetables from the farmers' market. Of course, nowadays you can buy vegetables and fruits in the grocery store all year round, but fresh local fruits and vegetables can be bought only during the fruit and vegetable harvest season that starts in August.
Practice the vocabulary for fruit, berries, and vegetables every time you go to the farmer's market (or the produce section of your local store). Try to name the fruits and vegetables you see there in Russian.
